There are three causes of ugly ties, those are: the wrong material, the wierd design, and the combining color that are bad. First, a tie which is made of the wrong material caused tie looks bad, for example: wool. Because, the knot is so thick and it looks like some maligant tumor growing on the guy's neck.
Second, the weird design, the design of a tie influence how the people look likes. For example, I saw a tie once that had huge broccoli, cabbage heads, and bananas printed all over it and I wanted to barf at that time.
Third, the combination of colors which are bad, a tie can be bad even if they're made of natural material and also it doesn't have any design at all on them, because it combination color, such as, a prune purple tie, combining orange bubble with hot pink squares, and a dark brown stripes with neon blue rectangles. All of those ties are worst, because its color really not match each other. Indeed, these three things are the causes of ugly neckties.
