Arguing Paragraph
Topic : Should teaching assistants be given so much authority in running classes?
A teaching assistant is one of student in the college who is chosen by the teacher to assist her. She should not be given so much authority in a running class because of several reasons. First, as an assistant, she just has to replace the teacher if the teacher can not come at that time, because the function of a teaching assistant is being the right-hand of the teacher. If the teacher can not come or has not come yet, the assistant should inform the class and give the materials for the students in the class. In this case, the function of a teaching assistant is not in a running class, but she just replacing the teacher. Second, if a teaching assistant give too much authority in a running class, it will make other students feel jealous with her, because they think that they are in the same college and level. For example, when the teacher explains about the material, the teaching assistant asking to the whole class if they have any question or do not really clear with the teacher’s explanation. It is really disturb the entire class. A teaching assistant may feel smarter that others and look degrade other students. Finally, a teaching assistant can do something only the teacher asked. It can be fair for everyone.
